Help....I thought I had the stock fuel pump for my 57 BA HT. However, when trying to hook up the fuel line to the "stock" fuel pump it doesn't seem to fit correctly. The intake and output of the pump are exactly opposite each other, 180 degrees from each other. I have a short rubber hose on the input side of the pump...it will either be way to close to the heat riser or it will kink the hose. If I offset the pump, unscrew the top from the bottom and twist it slightly, then the front output fitting would not line up with the pre-bent fuel line to the filter/carbs.
Any ideas? Do I have the wrong pump? |

I'd say you have the wrong hard line coming down from your carbs. Mine doesn't have that 90* fitting like yours...the line should screw directly into the pump.
If you think you've got the wrong pump, I'd love to buy that one from you. ![]() |

Your pump is correct if the numbers "4346" are cast in the flange casting. You should not have adaptor fittings on it.
