Someone should buy it. I alway thought it would be cool to pull my 57 with a Tri Five wagon.( if I finish it) If I didn't have a project going I'd buy it. Did you put it in the classifieds here?

3k sounds like a very reasonable price. If I had room for it I'd certainly pay 3k for it.

Parting out a classic is a shame, but it's your car and your money. Somehow I don't think you're serious about parting it out or you wouldn't have asked a bunch of die hard enthusiasts for their opinion on the issue

Try posting it in the classifieds here and on other sites and see what happens.

Sell it on ebay! I have sold 6 vehicles through ebay and got MORE$$$ than I thought I would! Accept CASH only-NO money orders, NO cashiers checks and most certainly NOT personal checks! The last 5 minutes of the auction is when the bidding will go crazy!!! If your close to OKLA. I will buy it! Or would you deliver?

You might get more for it parted out, but the work you'd put into it to do it probably wouldn't be worth the difference. Plus, it would be a shame to part out a solid, running car IMO. I have a 56 210 4-door sedan that I may part out because I can't sell it either (haven't tried e-bay yet). It has some rust in the floors and it's a little banged up but complete. It has a running (suppposedly) original 6 cyl and 3-speed overdrive and it's all there. I might be able to use the hood and trunk myself, though.
