It's my understanding that you can pick up direct from Golden Star's warehouse , but individuals have to buy from a Golden Star dealer.
Just saw this thread. I will confirm this. I am close to their warehouse and have purchased through various dealers and saved the freight by picking up. This helps a bunch when you buy the big stuff. Golden Star folks are always nice and helpful when picking up. Great vendor and I have been very happy with the parts I have purchased.
You can buy from an online vendor and just go pick the parts up at the warehouse in Lewisville. I have done this before. At least it would save on the shipping.
Jegs had the best price when I was working on my 57 3 years ago. The shipping wasn't to bad at the time, It was too far away to pick it up. They beat both Ecklers and Classic Industries by $150.00 on the quarter panels. Freight was $135.00 each buying them at different times. 2 weeks was delivery time.
I've never had any other company beat Restoration Worlds price including Jegs or Summit. In addition if you buy enough parts they will give an additional 5% discount. They did tell me you can buy from them and pick up directly from Golden Star if you want. In my case since I'm close I pick up at their store. They have a weekly delivery truck usually on Thursday with free shipping. I've been really pleased with their staff, they're top notch.
