Not having any luck editing this morning, system won't save edits...

Apparently the van wiring is:
A- Bn
B- D-Bu
C- Wh/Bk
D- Pu
E- L -Bu
F- Tn

Only GM decided to use 1-6 instead of A-F for the plug wire positions.

According to a chart from the vendor, the positions in the ECU plug are:
Bn - 30
D-Bu- 29
Wh/Bk - 56
Pu - 23
L-Bu - 32
Tn - 36

I have no way of knowing if these are correct, only know that they have continuity between the pedal and edu plugs. Are the truck/van/corvette DBW ECU pin positions the same?

Old Buzzard: We'll get to the VATS soon, I've emailed Current Performance about the stall issue and plan to do some testing this afternoon to see if power to coils is being cut to make it stall... But until we get the pedal working it's conceivable that the pedal is the problem.

They use different ECM's so pinouts are different at the ECM. Moving wire at the pedal or ECM does the same thing move wires.

Based on the pinouts from vendor your ECM is an E38 2 plug unit and the pedal should be pin'ed as a truck. As I noted in posted #28 But...

Based on your picture the wires Purple and Tan are swapped from a standard truck pedal plug.

Swap pin A and C the purple and tan. That may fix pedal issue. Disconnect battery first to clear any codes then turn on key. See if it will start. And check for codes.

Yup, E38 w two plugs, I'd thought the ECU came with the engine but it's a 2010 according to reader, I think the 6.0 is 2013, at least that's what the seller claimed...

The tan and purple wires were switched to begin with, I switched them to where they are now after trying the corvette pedal and finding no love at all, wouldn't move throttle plate and codes would not clear. It sits w battery disconnected but codes are there when ign is on, reappear when cleared and some are marked 'permanent'...

This pic shows how the wires were arranged to begin with.

At one point w the van pedal I had the throttle plate moving but got new codes like P2138 warning of drivability issues and damage to components, and still had run/stall. That was with trying to match up what a diagram says each pin on pedal does to what another diagram says each wire to ECU does. The catch is the 5-volt reference and low reference are not marked as for sensor 1 signal or sensor 2 signal so that's, what, 16 combinations to try?

I'm flummoxed, maybe I just have to tear harness out and start all over as has been suggested...

If it's wired like vette at pedal and like truck at ECU shouldn't it work? For example, is Dk-Bu always sensor 1 and Tn always 5V ref 1, etc. or did GM change up the function of the wires across models?

Your alittle confusing as to what you have done or haven't.

So with the pins as pictured below hooked to vette pedal it didn't work???

B0185: Sorry for not being clear. The last pic in the thread is of the harness pedal plug as originally configured. It also shows the earlier pigtail adapter that went to the van pedal with its rectangle plug but that's sidelined now. When the Corvette pedal arrived I plugged the harness pedal plug as shown into it like a kid on christmas morning but it didn't function, didn't move throttle plate, and the start/stall plus codes were still there.

I've looked at a lot of wiring diagrams and decided switching the Tn and Pu wires was worth a shot. It made no difference but I haven't switched them back yet.

Further perusal of wiring diagrams makes me think the corvette pedal is arranged as follows:

A - Pu
B - L-Bu
C - Tn
D - Bn
E - D-Bu
F - Wht/Bk

If the wire color always indicates what it actually does (5 Volt Ref, App Sensor 1, etc) then it seems I should be able to rewire the pedal plug to use the right pins on the corvette pedal to communicate with the appropriate pins at the ECU plug discussed earlier that are in truck configuration with the E38.

Any ideas on this? Haven't heard back from vendor since emailing the same tech yesterday so it looks like I'm on my own for the weekend...

Look on the back of the block, at the dr side, top rear. Should be a laser etched VIN # there.
What is the service number on the ecm?

A - Brown
B- Dark Blue
C- White/black
D- Tan
E- Light blue
F- Purple

Pins are ID'ed with clip on top with F-A as pictured in post #28

Those are should be the Vette pins need at the pedal plug. The ones you posted are the truck pins with D-F swapped.

Try the above I listed. Again unhook battery repin, reinstall battery and start. You may not see the TB move with out the motor running so don't get hung up on that. See if it will start and if it makes codes.

Repin, clear codes, start and, unfortunately, there are more of the same codes and the same start/stall is present. Hard to tell if the throttle plate is moving when engine only runs for a moment. Even checked voltage thinking maybe I had a bad ign switch but it is working as well as a new part should.

The codes are:
P2122 Accelerator pedal sensor 1 low voltage
P2128 Accelerator pedal sensor 2 high voltage
P2122 Accelerator pedal sensor 1 low voltage
P2128 Accelerator pedal sensor 2 high voltage
P0122 Throttle pos sensor 1 low voltage
P0223 Throttle pos sensor 2 high voltage
P0223 Throttle pos sensor 1 high voltage
P0315 crank pos sensor not learned
P2122 Accelerator pedal sensor 1 low voltage

It's tough LS sledding down here in in FL...

There is either something wrong with the harness or tune. Its a pedal compatibility issue with the way its setup. There are mult pedals and differences in way the sensors work internally. So you need the right pedal for how they set it up.

Do you happen to have access to a truck pedal? Anyone with a 2007-13 GM LS fullsize truck you could borrow? Repin plug to the truck unit listed and try one more time. If that doesn’t work then...

I would call the vendor Monday morning and ask for help right then or a full refund. Harness/ecm should have been tested before it left.
