Tony....I'm not 100% sure why...But, when you mention Power Windows, New Relic immediately pops into my head.

I also vote for Nu-relic...... Hard to beat their warranty and customer service....

TIP... Once the old rear regulators are removed take a dremel and lengthen the slotted adjustment holes about 1/4"......

Default power windows

I've used Nu Relics on two of my builds. Quality of product is outstanding and customer service is as well.

If you're keeping the door cardboards and don't want to deal with a hole where the crank was, and you want a stock look you might consider using window crank switches. Mulitple splined shafts available to assure proper fitment.

Question ???

"TIP... Once the old rear regulators are removed take a dremel and lengthen the slotted adjustment holes about 1/4"".

1/4" at each end of the holes?
Also, how much of the original parts are needed to install?

Seems like I've heard two potential problems with those.

1. They won't lie flat enough on the inner door structure to allow a flat upholstery panel without modifying the structure.

2. If you cut on the inner door structure enough for them to fit, then they may interfere with the window mechanism.

Can anyone offer comment or solutions to this?

Basically you are simply swapping out the old regulators with the powered units and wiring up the harness. In theory you don't need anything more.... in reality when something comes apart you can usually count on "Unforeseen Conditions" that will need attention. I ended up replacing the felt in the window channels and needed to source the large star locking washers to secure the regulators once they were in place and adjusted..... I had to buy 100 of them so if anyone needs some let me know.... Haha!

By lengthening the regulator adjustment slots you'll gain a bit more adjust-ability during the installation and save a bit of time....

Thanks for the reply.
Fortunately, all the parts are in good condition, and have been blasted and painted. The channel is going back w/ new, as this is a total rebuild.
