I can send a 3oz box thru USPS ground rate it will end up over $4.50
Please emember when ordering parts from the classic chevy they may use UPS FED X to come there to pick up the boxes. Right away UPS or FedX charges a fee and this is passed on to you and me, so if UPS or FEDX charges lets say $15 + classic chevy charges $25 for shipping now you are up $41 before it get out the door, not counting the price for the parts
Shipping charges have gone out of sight
I sent a box out the other day 14 pounds to NJ $35
remember everyone want what you have in your wallet
Unless those pieces were absolutely necessary for a concours restoration, I would have shopped at a local vendor. I've never shopped at Eckler's, the more I read, the more turned off I get re them!
A little off topic, we know about crazy shipping rates on anything we buy, regardless of vendor, it is a north of the border pain we have t deal with, and seeing fees like this is very common...
I purchased a couple things off ebay, was charged separate shipping on each item, yet they came in the same package...doesn't make any sense!
That's their global shipping program...oh yeah, and it took a month to get here...
If you think that is bad, try shipping things to Australia! The weird thing is that shipping costs seem to vary dramatically between different vendors even with the same shipping company. Stranger still - the cheapest and fastest shipping I have seen and used numerous times is buying stuff from Rock Auto and they ship by FedEx.
