Man-O-Man, I hope I never have to find out what it takes to clean up the mess. The powder will be EVERYWHERE. $15,000+ blower motor covered in CRAP.

Thanks for the PDF ó helpful.

Iíll take another look at Halotron, because everything Iíve read stated that it doesnít leave a residue. Safe for server rooms that must be protected at all cost I just cannot imagine that it leaves a residue.

Looks like there's some conflicting information out there on whether Halotron leaves a residue or not. I'm also seeing info where it's a considered a "clean agent" and does not need cleanup.

I have my Halon extinguisher mounted on the cargo shelf of my Utility Coupe, right behind the driver's seat where I can easily reach it.

I'm going to change the mount to a spring clamp so I won't have to fumble around with a release lever to get to it. Just reach, grab and go.

I went high tech.

"Element Fire Extinguisher"

Non toxic smoke

50 second duration

Fights A B C k

Severals mounting options but will just slide under drivers side bench seat.

Never needs re-charging.

Leaves no residue.

I included a pen in the picture for perspective.

I'm definitely going to order one of these for my 56 and one for each of my cars. I like it as it won't become a missile in case of a wreck!
