Default 3/4 offset leaf springs

Don`t bother ordering them.I bought a set from them through e-bay and they showed 3 in stock.Did buy it now and paid for 2 springs.Received shipping confirmation 2 days later that showed only 1 spring shipped.Called them to find out why only 1 spring was shipped and they said they only had 1 in stock and that they were on back order. Why would they have put 3 up for auction if they only had 1 in stock ? I asked when would they be coming off back order ?
I was put on hold for about 10 minutes and when the gentleman got back on the phone he said that they just received 2 into stock and that since I was first on the list they would sent it right out and I would have it this week.
Well after I received the first spring in 4 days I gave them a call so that I could have the tracking number on the second spring. The girl had me on the phone for ten minutes while she claimed she was checking on the order. She said oh it looks like you are second on the list and that I would not receive the springs for a month.
Why would they advertise something for sale on e-bay that they do not even have in stock ? Why did they lie to me when I called about the status ? Why did they claim that I would have the second spring by the end of the week ?
Why was I told that I was first on some fictitious list ? What am I suppose to do with one 3/4 offset stock height spring ?

What is a 3/4" offset leaf spring? Never heard of that.

I have heard of offset shackles for Camaros and Novas, but trifives don't lend themselves to that.

I'll take a guess ... Moves the rear axle towards the rear by 3/4"... For clearance at front of wheel arch??

A set of race car style tubs and a narrowed axle is a better solution, LOL.

I thought maybe they moved differential forward so the driveshaft fit with 3/4 forward motor mounts. lol

How does a set of race car style tubs and a narrowed axle move the rear rear end back 3/4" ?? Tubs allow wider tires & a narrowed axle helps with wider tires. Neither moves the rear end back 3/4". The leaf spring center bolt is offset 3/4" to the rear to allow for additional tire clearance front to rear. Not side to side

The big tubs allow a bigger diameter tire to clear in front.

The narrowed axle keeps the wheel cutout in the quarter panel from being a factor with tire clearance. You don't have to move the tire in much to achieve that.

To me, when you move the axle/tires rearward, they look awkward in the wheel cutout. It also puts more weight on the front of the car, and less on the back.

I was just kidding though on those mods being a real suggestion for many people, though they are for a few. That's why I put "LOL" there.

My way of dealing with this if I didn't want to go with the big tubs and narrow axle would be to get a tire that fits without mods. That's my opinion, there's no absolute right or wrong.
