Just wanted to post the dried masking tape situation is cured. I soaked the stainless trim in a full length water bath for several days and used of all things an old wood Popsicle stick from my Grand daughter's lunch snack. Worked great after a few repeated soakings with some scrapings and rubbings. Never left a mark and the trim is now ready for a polish. Took two Popsicle sticks, one was my G'daughter's and one was mine, LOL.

Just took a bit of time and such but came out great and spent some G'pa time with the little one.
