TF401126 56-57 TRI-5 sedan otr whlhs rh will not fit
I separated the front section in order to make it easier to install, which it was, but when I tried to fit the middle and tail section it was no where even close to fitting. It seems much longer than the left side which I haven't installed yet. Is it possible it has the wrong tail section?
I think you need to over lap the first and second more. The 3rd or lower splash section can be pushed all the way up on the second to where the larger or fatter part is. The lower tab will be put up and inside the quarter and it is almost at a 45 degree angle to the 2nd panel when installed.
I have had issues with most of the repro panels from Golden Star. They always need to be modified to make them work......but now fit as OEM panels did.
This photo is of a convert, but the over lap at the #2 to the splash pan, or #3 is about the same.

It looks to me like the second section would fit if not attached to the tail piece. I could start cutting it up to make it overlap but it seems like it is the wrong tail section. It doesn't seem to have the right contour against the inner fender and widens unlike the other side's tail piece.
Thanks Mikey! I took your advice and massaged everything together. I haven't got it finished yet but it looks like it will work just fine. Your note gave me the push I needed to just "git er done". Thanks again!
