Default Edelbrock Fuel Line Kit

I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but I am trying to install an Edelbrock fuel line kit. The problem is when the fuel filter is attached, it butts up to the heater hose connection on the intake manifold. There is no way to attach the fuel line to the filter.

Yes, except I bought mine from Danchuk. I have an Edelbrock Performer 2101 aluminum intake manifold.

I was able to get it to sneak by. I move the heater hose clam a bit. I still don't like the way the fuel line rests on top of the heater hose.

Thanks for your response. Sorry for wasting your time.

No...No...Not waste of time at all....I will be using the same set-up with an Edelbrock RPM manifold and needeed to know this information.

Do you think a 90* fitting would help there?

If you used a 90 degree fitting, it would have to be female AN type to fit the fuel filter. It would probably just turn it so the large radiator hose would then be the next obstruction.

Oh, sorry. It might work, but the conflict is right at the fitting. I'm afraid it would be the same situation. I may try the 90 degree some time later.

Thanks for the suggestion.

How about a 1/2" thick spacer under the carb. Helps with heat dissipation as well as spacing the carb up a bit. Keeps the float chamber cooler in th carb.
