I too had reservations to make it again this year. My wife and I have been to three of the last four years...and didn’t have a car until this time! I was looking forward to winning that ‘57 to go with my ‘55. I guess they will store it for me until next year or maybe build another’55 and give away two cars next year?
Well , I guess it is the best decision although it is disappointing . I always considered it to be the best and will look forward to 2021 . The trip, the area, the people and the outstanding show made it my favorite part of the summer.

I'm not pleased, but I'm not at all surprised. To be honest, I'd have been more surprised if it did go ahead. But in a way I'm glad. I've been to every Tri-Five Nats so far, and making it to this year was going to be questionable. Coming from Canada, we weren't sure if the border would be open, in either direction, by then, or if we'd have to self quarantine (again) for two weeks after going home. Plus, we would have had to fly in this year, and all that's in limbo now.
For 2021 we are already committed to driving to the Nats in Snobad, which we are really looking forward to. See you all then! Dave
The way I see it, it gives me another year to get some paint on my car and a trailer before I show up again. If heat really kills the virus, we'd have been safe in that hot place even if they had gone ahead with it.
Was thinking about going down to see the cars in person..Just turned 78 a couple of days ago..My 56 Chevy I used to have is long gone..But memories are still here with me..I bought a 53 Chevy last year...It`s in the body shop getting a new look...
But the safety and health of all our classic car owners and their families is priceless,no matter if the car they own is a Tri-Five or not..Seems according to the Doctor`s etc, people over 65 are more likely NOT to survive a fight with this virus...And many, many classic car owner are over 65..Some like me are way over...So next year could and will be a great year to get together and see all the great cars..Stay safe..Ride your cars around town when the sun is shinning..Have your club drive around to personal care homes, and make those old folks who can`t drive their old cars anymore feel like somebody cares & thinks about them..
