I have found that some shorts and a tank top is way cooler than jeans and a short sleeve shirt. My legs are snow white and I have a sweet farmers tan I just finished grinding to shape the corners of the fuel door on the quarter panel. Had to build up and inside edge on two corners with weld. Now I have a nicely gapped fuel door

I give you credit for blocking the car in the middle of summer. I'm going to wait for the cooler months to block out mine. Keep up the good work!

I was thinking that it's very close to paint until I remembered the backside of the doors need smoothing up, the firewall still needs metalwork and body filler, and the underside of deck lid needs finished. CRAP. Going to Z Chrome the sides and 120 block again, then 2k prime it. I'll then blow it apart and set the body on my body cart. I'll paint it this way and all the body panels separately. I will paint the body shell first so there's no tape lines on the door jambs or firewall. It's raining today and my Dads having another heart surgery so I get a day off

It has taken 15 minutes to load a pic at photobucket. This pic hosting site is absolutely the biggest pile of crap. They had so much pop up ads that it would lock up my computer. I finally paid for a subscription and it still locks up and is very slow. I've used them for at least 10 or 12 years but just when you get used to running it, some dipwadd has to change the layout where you have to figure it all out again.

Hi guys.
I have been reading this build with great enthusiasm.

I get to start on my '55 build in September. Going thru these builds is making me aware of what's involved and the realistic time lines involved.

As far as picture hosting, I'm using tinypic.com.
Just upload your photo's into a folder select the resize you want to save it. I use 800x 600 and submit.
Grab the url box that says "for message boards" highlight the url and "copy" then paste in your message.

Hope this helps some.

Hafrod, it's time!

Time you get your priorities in order and stop leaving us hanging!!

Besides, you don't want the rep of leaving a "sticky" thread unfinished do you?? Just some friendly motivation, we miss you bro.
