Well, the thing continues to have a mind of its own. Now it has decided to start working properly. Perhaps something was stuck in there somewhere and after being run yesterday, then set overnight....I don't know if that's possible.

Never being inside a power box, I am not sure if there is something that could have been stuck and now is free. Go figure.

Thanks for the info on the Borgeson box Rick

So now I ask, anyone ever took one of these apart? Since it is no longer in warranty, why not see what makes it tick. My guess is something is stuck in there since it sat for 5 years. Maybe running a little more might free something up?

If I have to put out that kind of money, plus shipping, I might be ahead just buying something else.

Does a Borgeson have the same size footprint? With the BB and headers I have about 1/8 to 3/16 of room. If a Borgeson is smaller, or no bigger I could do that.
Look at the bottom right corner of this page. Maybe that5's the life of the part.http://www.classicperform.com/

Thanks for pointing that out Don. I had another box I sent back for a leak right out of the casting and then they said it had a lifetime warranty. When he said 5 years today, I was surprised. If I have any more trouble I will point that out to them.

This one is even better....right on the steering box page bottom right

Their reply will be: "The warranty doesn't cover xxxx". Whatever they want xxxx to be.

Hopefully the problem was some trash that's now flushed out of the box, or at least away from the inlet valve.

Mark...Hopefully, the problem is gone forever....However, oftentimes things don't fix themselves...I would keep a close eye on it.

Thanks Rick and David. I am hoping it was just a result of sitting for 5 years without moving.

Perhaps the "trash" that was stuck in there was their warranty. I sent an email with a screenshot of their product page and warranty statement asking what was the deal. IF they reply I'll let everyone know.

I added a magnetic power steering filter to my return line to pick up any trash when new. Might be a good idea. If I had to change my CPP box out and sticking with regular power steering, I'd definitely try the Borgeson box next time. I'm not really impressed with my CPP box. The movement is a little "notchy" sometimes. Tried new pump, fluid, etc to no avail.
