Default Stance (lower in front)

I want to have a more aggressive look and ride to my 57. Basically, more nose down in front and the rear a little higher with a slightly stiffer ride.
My chassis is basically stock. Everything is restored or new. It rides too soft.
What can I do without breaking the bank?
John

I have 5 leaf springs. What brand/spec? of a stiffer shock.
I put a rear stabilizer bar on my first 57 and it was sloppy and loose where it attached on the rear axle.

What I did and is most cost effective is 2" dropped springs up front. Then I had the 5 leaf rear springs re-arched to give a little more lift that I wanted. Also my rear tires are about an inch bigger in diameter.

Find yourself another pair of front springs. Start by cutting them down to get it to the look you want.
You may want to consider steering as well as your turning circle as the wheels will probably rub.

Check Ecklers for KYB high pressure shocks.

John...The easiest and most cost effective way to go IMO would be to install a set of load leveler shocks....Put a set on my 55 that was a little saggy in the rear and they brought it up to an acceptable level and the ride did not suffer.

Hey John, loving the car. Fan of the color combo.

Are the rear springs shot? From the angle of the pic, it looks like your rear is sitting lower than mine which has 3" lowering springs. It's making me wonder why mine isn't lower. Again, maybe it's the angle.

To bad you're not local, I have rear springs in great shape that definitely raised the rear of my car.
