Hi all,

Can someone please tell me the difference between a, power steering and a non power steering idler arm????

If you can find a casting number on it,

The PS idler arm is #3709453 and the standard steering is #3709426.

You can see the angle and length comparison below.

It was noted in another recent post that the idler arm asembly and the pitman arm should both be of the same type (power steering-power steering) or (manual steering-manual steering) together because as a set they offer improved alignment charactistics. Matched sets.

Stan...Seems to me like it would be hard to use a P/S pitman arm in place of a stock one...I guess some sort of ball could be bolted/welded to it:
