Ah. I think I get the confusion. I understood your first question to read "what's the point of the reference?" I thought the answer was obvious...I provided a link so people could get all the details of the issue I had with the product without me having to re-enter it all. But now I think the question you were really asking was "what's the point of a second thread?" The answer is pretty easy. The two threads are in different sub-forums. The first one is in Suspension Questions Chassis, Brakes, Springs, Shocks, Swaybars, Tire, Rims Etc and the second one is in Classic Performance Products. There is the potential of reaching different audiences. My intent is to inform as many people as possible about this product and the response from the manufacturer. You know - Caveat emptor! I'm kind of new to this forum thing so again, If I violated some rule please let me know. Or maybe have a moderator contact me.
After reading your explanation I now understand your reasoning for it. Interests here are varied, so many or most guys (me included) don't even pay attention to what forum a topic is in because it doesn't really matter. A topic of interest gets clicked on regardless of forum. It's not a protocol malfunction on your part since you've explained it, just a matter of two threads on the same subject.
Great work on the truck there. This one is going to be a fun one to watch happen from a distance!
