Spent 2 hours today making an order so I could make an order during there customer appreciation sale and when I put part numbers in there online system it wouldn't add them. I called the sales desk and was told some parts was cost protected and wouldn't be able to get the full discount. Had a 1600.00 order but screw Ecklers, I will order from another suppler tomorrow. I built 2 - 57 Chevy's in the last 3 years but will send my future business to someone else that will do what they say.
IMHO...They could show their appreciation by going back to providing parts for TriFives only....They have expanded to the point where they now sell parts for almost everything under the sun....There is no way their counter personnel can keep up with all that...See the list below.

Unfortunately they have become the business of POOR customer support. There are plenty of vendors that will treat you right and even give an additional discount on a large purchase like that. EVERYTHING that Ecklers has available can be purchased at countless other vendors that will be more than happy to fill your order needs.
Not only what hotrodhandyman said, but Ecklers sale prices often only match others' regular prices. And since they don't manufacture anything, it's always available somewhere else. Often at a better price where they will tell you if it's in stock before you order, etc., etc. Shipping charges are an issue too.
I used to like to have their printed catalogs - just to see what things look like and what's on the market - but I quit that a few years ago too.
I called their service number for a door skin ordered 3 weeks ago and got a recording.I am not happy and now I can not cancel the order and buy one some place else. Probably end up with two Yes I now there was a storm but they should have a service person, they are still selling parts
