Default 1961 Impala "Bubbletop" $29,500

Thinning the collection I have decided to put my 61 up for sale. I describe the car as a driver quality fairly priced 61 . If one is looking to enjoy a 61 for its beauty and ride this fits. First off it was born a 283 powerglide power steering and power brake car. Two plus factors for the big chevy. It now has a healthy 350 with a 350 Turbo 3 speed auto tranny and retains the power options. Blue in color with white top and brand new factory blue interior package from Ciadella Interiors, including all new seat foam. The package includes carpet to headliner and all in between. Correct 61 Steering wheel ( they do not repop them so many cars do not have the correct wheel). New badges and emblems. New bumpers front and back. New Riddler wheels 15x 8 on rear , 15x 7 up front on a 75 series radial to give a nice tall stance. Finished and detailed trunk and underside. Drum brakes. Best described it has a hot rod look and drive with original styling and interior of the 61's.....for me a nice happy marriage of 60's style. I have replaced the right front floor pan as the original had some perforations, the rest of the pans are all good including the trunk. The body has its typical bondo repairs in lower exterior rockers , the inners are solid. The frame is solid. The paint is a 7 and is not the original 61 blue but fits the car nicely. Chevy decided it was a good choice and made it available in 66 dubbed "Marina Blue" .....yall know that color I'm sure. These cars are very popular..... locally I do not see many out cruising. Here is the skinny on value and pricing. As most classics the prices are all over the place depending on build and originally. Rolling projects hover in around 10-15k depending on how many new parts come in boxes ...lol. Building one of these cars is very expensive and a rusty hulk will bury you in expense, example, fenders are almost impossible to find and go for serious money. A correct 348 4-speed car can demand 45-55k. A nice resto mod will bring 75k and up and they are beautiful( check out Carls, sonseeker.) So mine being a nice driver that you can enjoy at a decent fair price is $29,500. That's the story on my 61. I have pictures available if interested and thanks for reading. Greg.

I like paragraphs; easier to read.

When selling on the internet, does help to have pictures.

cheap used cell phone with a USB cord hooked up to a laptop can do wonders.

Good luck; love '61 BT's!
