Default *Hey Guys....I have some exciting news!!!

I haven’t been on here much since late November - I have been busy with Christmas, traveling, out of town guests visiting, taking care of my 93 year old uncle and putting in a hundred or more hours (so far) producing a premiere Indoor/Outdoor car show. It will be held at the Classic Auto Mall which was a 360,000 sq ft furniture outlet mall that spans 1/8 of mile from one entrance to the center and another 1/8 of a mile to the other entrance. There are four entrances (north, south, east & west) and attached to one of them is a Holiday Inn. The mall’s prior owner raised the rents excessively, thinking he would profit greatly but much to his chagrin, all of the renters vacated leaving behind an empty mall for six years until a gentleman bought it and the Holiday Inn refurbishing both with over three million of his own money. He turned the mall into the www.classicautomall.com stocking it with his over 400 collection of unrestored, barn find vehicles ranging from 1900 to the 1980’s. All have descriptions and are placed in lighted showrooms which are open to the public at no charge. He also started a vehicle consignment company that extends worldwide which now includes over 200 some rare and unusual vehicles selling for over $220K that are featured in the mall. After meeting Don, a year and a half ago and seeing the transformation of the hotel and mall, I had the idea to produce the 1st ever premiere Indoor/Outdoor car show that will not only have an outdoor car show that is expected to attract between 500 and 600 cars but will also feature inside the mall, very unique and unusual display vehicles (ones that I have procured ), Hot Wheel cars, dyno testing, high quality automotive vendors that are not seen at outdoor car shows, high end food trucks, and workshops and seminars led by automotive experts. We expect upwards of 1200 people or more.

The show will benefit opium addiction and will be the largest addiction recovery car show on the east coast. The amount of work I am putting into it is well worth it. We are also offering blocks of Holiday Inn rooms at discounted rates for those that are traveling from out of town or even traveling a couple hours away from neighboring Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, or New York. If you have an unusual vehicle for display; car, truck or motorcycle or you know of a vendor that would want to set up their display…I’d be interested in talking to you or them! Hope to see some TriFive members at the show…look me up! And I’ll be back on here regularly now that I’ve got 85% of my vendor, specialty vehicles, food vendor, etc lined up.

Johnny, does that mean if I drive the 57 up to Morgantown for the show, I can pay the $20 and park outside as part of the show so to speak with other classic cars and not just in some general parking lot?

Mike...it should take you about an hour from Havertown or more? I drive Belle almost two hours when we go to the Motorama in Harrisburg or the East Coast Nationals in Timonium MD...and thats in the winter in the dark! Well, it will be a test to see if you've put in everything right! LOL

About an hour and a half. I have generally stayed closer to the neighborhood with the car since I got it back to running condition in 2015 (sat in the garage for 15 or more before that) but if the weather looks cooperative, and the job cooperates, I might try to meet up with Bill Scott and make the trip.

You dont take her out for 20/30 mile runs? I put about 1500 miles on Belle a year and she's a diva!! Yeah, I was going to suggest you meet up with Bill and do a convoy!
