Haven’t signed in for a few months. Lurk from time to time. Not sign in, you cant view the site as “desktop” on mobile UNLESS signed in. Every time you try to exit enhanced mode it just re routed back to the mobile view. Have verified that re routing on mobile with 3 phones and an IPad.

Also, regarding other Auto Guide owned forums I’m a part of, I’m unable to reset my password because the link sent in the emails is invalid. Is there any assistance to that as I’ve been on those forums for a while. One being since 2008.

Thank you, Nick

I brought this up in an unrelated post, but I noticed this about the first of the month. Once or twice a day if I have a couple of extra minutes I like to breeze through the latest posts on my Android - but now can't do so without it being in the mobile mode - at least to me, it's not desirable. Any chance we can get it put back the way it was? JR

Yep it's frustrating... I prefer the desktop views over mobile on any forums.

Also, I kept getting ad redirects on my mobile anytime I signed out so that's nice. Going to lose a lot of forum users if that persists.

Hello there,

If you're having issues resetting your password, you can PM us and we'll get that resolved for you.

If you click on "remember me" that should make your account logged in at all times.

I'm seriously not trying to pick a nit, but what about addressing what changed, and why the change is beneficial...if it even is. I access the forum on three separate devices, and don't prefer to stay logged in on all of them...if I even can. Except for my phone, the other two are shut down when I'm not using them. I'm certainly not very tech friendly, but I don't even understand why the mobile version is considered 'better' on a mobile device. On my phone screen it doesn't make any sense in the first place - and if others are staying logged in just to avoid dealing with the mobile version... just saying. So it's not really about convenience. The full version layout makes much more sense to me. Could someone enlighten me please? JR

I haven't even figured out how to log on using an Apple phone since recently switching from Android. Site comes up in mobile mode. It's not intuitive how to log on or switch to desktop, which if I could get there I would be home free. On the Android it was easy to get to desktop mode and log on, only problem was all the scrolling needed. I'm no wizard but I've been using PCs and phones for a long time.

Rick - like you, I've been using a PC for years at work, but at least for me not so much at home (get enough of it at the office). If you look to the upper left on the mobile homepage, there are three horizontal lines that indicate some choices in that screen. At the bottom of the choices you'll see "Exit Enhanced Mobile View", and "are you sure you want to exit to the desktop version?", and when you choose OK, you go right back to the mobile version. Had no trouble with it until about the first of the month. Makes one wonder why give us a choice if we're not allowed to use it...

I tested exiting the enhanced mobile view on my phone. I wasn't able to when I was signed out but, when I signed in I was able to exit it fine. Can you try logging in and try to exit it?

This is the exact problem I posted. We should be able to view the full site on mobile without being logged into the site.

Also again. Getting forced ad redirects with probably virus? While logged out is a problem too.

Also, regarding my password question in the initial post I made, it's not for this site. It's for two other auto guide ran sites. If an AG ADMIN could PM me for assistance that would be great.
