What source is recommended for rubber parts, such as grommets?
I need the rubber grommet for the wiring harness connector which goes through the LEFT side of the radiator support (for lights, horns, etc).
Whomever you order from, I suggest ordering *everything* you can think you might need, otherwise you're going to be paying $12-15 for a single grommet! They all toss your small part into a big box along with a catalog and 'race stickers' and charge $8 or more for shipping.
It's cheaper to order the full 'front end grommet' kit...
PS. Check with Firesteel Classics (http://firesteelclassiccars.com/) If anyone will sell you a single grommet, put it in an envelope and charge a minimum amt, it would be Sandy... They sell both Danchuk and 'East Coast Chevy' parts...

Just my own personal experience with Danchuk windshield rubber. It was fatter than others which made getting the inside stainless to fit a real chore. I pulled the glass because it got a rock chip and everything fit fine. Going back with the new rubber, everything was too tight to fit back again. I went with a T&N rubber and it all fit back perfectly.
if your referring to the rubber grommet going thru the radiator support on a 57 on the left side, I just purchased this part from user id crazylights on ebay for 11.40 this included shipping. Part fits well, its listed as 1957 1958 chevy park lamp wire harness grommet
