Default 350ho flexplate

anyone got a solution for a flexplate that will work on a cast iron powerglide and a 350 ho? the 350 has a11.5 bolt pattern ,the pg has a 12.25.i have not seen any larger than 11.5

As far as I know, no one makes an aftermarket flex plate that will bolt to a cast iron powerglide. You have to use an original.

What year is the engine, One or two piece rear main?

new 350ho crate 1 piece crank seal. the issue is the flexplate from the new engine won`t fit the pg because the torqe converter has 11.50 boltpattern, the pg has 12.25.the flexplate from the pg won`t fit the because the bolt pattern is much larger. crank bolt pattern is 3 inchs on the 350

just re-drill the flex plate for the power-glide pattern. easy peasy.

tks for the tip hotrodg .didnt drill new holes but carved the holes out with a die grinder 3/8 each hole. trans bolted to the engine now. hopefully the flexplate won`t fly apart on me with the modification.

I would be more worried about the cast iron P/G trans flying apart behind a H/P crate engine. Pretty sure you have to run a 168 tooth flex plate with it as well.

You are very correct on the number of teeth on a cast iron flex plate Bruce....Maybe with the correct starter it will work
