Default Muncie linkage help

Purchased this hurst competition shifter and linkage for my Muncie. Came off a trifive that had a small block chevy with a Muncie m20.

My Muncie is an m20, 3925660

Has the bolt on shift levers. The levers nearly fit but the hole is just a tad bit short. Do I have the wrong levers? Can I enlongagte the hole? Does anyone have a diagram for the proper routing of the linkage?

Thanks

These are the best pictures I have. My rods use a different system to bolt the rod to the lever and the rod end that looks like yours goes into the shifter.

There were two different style levers. The early (up TO 69) had studs with nuts like in custer55's pic above, after 68 they have bolts to hold them like your tranny does. I tried once to modify early levers to fit a later tranny but wasn't very successful at it. That metal is pretty tough to cut, and it's hard to be precise.

I have part numbers for you around here somewhere. I'll look for them and report back here later.

You need this style,

These are the early type (like yours),

Looked through all my shifter stuff and found part numbers you need, 1057058, 1057059, 1057060.

Then I looked on an Ebay ad (where I got the prior pics) and low and behold the numbers are listed right there. You can buy them direct from Hurst there. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hurst-4-Spee...dWshnr&vxp=mtr Seems much easier than what I used to do by calling Hurst and ordering over the phone. A heck of alot easier than combing through swap meets also.
