Wow! A little early for that BB. I like Nitto tires and Foose Wheels. Size will be determined by setback and turning radius. Toe in shouldn't be too difficult, but camber might be a little more difficult.
All trim, door handles, and ornaments are already shaved.

I agree 100% Cowboy. Gonna have to design some way of showing them off with some nice Foose Wheels and dual cold air induction tubes. On the 53L.

My '49 Olds came off the jig today. Hopefully finish up the wiring by this weekend

The wheels are on, the wiring seems to have been done, but the rack for the rack and pinion seems to be missing. Gotta check on that.
The Wilwood brake booster and master cylinder are mounted but still need to be hooked up.
Getting closer...

Hey Tri,its looking pretty good. Is the firewall going to be the same color as the body,is everything just mocked right now in the eng. bay and then removed for final paint? Press on and good going.

Yep, the engine and transmission will come out one more time for undercoating underneath, and either the same color, or complimentary paint for the firewall and engine bay.
Front baffles are custom, and the inner fender wells will be custom or modified.
The body shell is in surprisingly great shape. Door handles and all trunk and hood ornaments have been shaved,
I have a clean set of windows and a new roof top, but upholstery, roof top and window mechanisms (Power) will have to be assessed. I have all bumpers and grill, but they will need to be restored...even fender skirts.
I'm having a lot of thoughts going through my mind on color. Here's a color scheme I like on a car I saw at the Blackhawk Museum in Blackhawk, Ca., in the East Bay. Check out the trunk (gas tank). I doubt very much I will go to such an extreme.

Default Engine Startup

The 5.3L engine was fired up today. It hit right away in spite of not running in a while. I have a short video, but I don't know how to download it, and my one year old great granddaughter doesn't have the patience to teach me. LOL!
