Default NISSAN 260 Steering Box

I'm having drama with my Nissan 260 steering box. I've fitted a seal kit to it and now it won't work, no power.
Problem is I fitted a seal kit to the pump as well and now I don't know which one is giving me trouble.

Just wondering if someone can tell me which is the high pressure hose and which is the return hose on the Nissan box.

If I was a betting man, I'd say the larger fitting is for the pressure side....Here's my CPP-500 box.

Probably not the best picture but on mine both fittings are the same size...

Mal
I'll bump this for you. I know a couple of members have them. Tim56 is one - perhaps a PM to him might get an answer if no one else chimes in.
Cheers, Des

Hi Mal
Maybe a Nissan forum might be worth a shot. I hope you work it out as I have recently got one to use in mine.

Thanks guys, I got it sorted, the bottom is the high pressure and the top is return.
I ended up taking the box to a steering specialist to have checked.

Very easy install Knightsy, just a matter of getting the box lined up, drilling new holes through the chassis, fitting crush tubes and adding another section to the top of the chassis to accommodate the top hole on the steering box. I'm pretty sure I got pictures of it on my build post.

Then again, I manufacture here in Melbourne a Delphi 600 Series integral power steering box that bolts straight in to a 55-57 Chev RHD. No cutting, no welding, no grinding, it is even splined for your factory pitman arm. Look me up at www.allvet.com.au .

Regards.
