Small stuff is starting to really add up; misc wiring pigtails, gaskets, head studs are stupid expensive. I need to list the parts out of the '57 to recoup some of the expense. LS7 lifters are on backorder, so thats holding me up getting the heads back on.
You can do with out head studs. That blower will only make 600hp at the wheels with heads, cam and pulley down anyway. With the stock heads it will make 500hp or so I bet the stock head bolts are fine. Might make 550+ with the LFP cam.

Appreciate the insight on the corvette regulator, I've messed with E85 on my GN using dual 340's and -8An feed. It wasnt very consistent as far as ethanol content, so I'm back on 91 with methanol injection. My main concern with the corvette regulator is the lack of 1:1 rise of FP to boost, so essentially at 10# of boost there will only be ~48#. Not too happy with the injectors that came with the supercharger; FAST 65#, which I've researched aren't very easy to tune, would prefer ID850's but that'll have to wait.

BO185, I'm not a fan of those tty headbolts, and since the heads are off to be looked at amyways, I had already ordered the studs. Perhaps you can help me, I'm about 60% through with cutting the harness down, I'm lost on a blue wire coming out of the TCM that wemt to the dash harness. I don't believe its for the pedal sensor as I have the 6 wires off the pcm identified and labeled.

Attached picture is after about 4 hours worth of work. Down to identifying which pink wires to keep for power

Speed sensor? We have a dakota digital dash, eventually I will use the obd2 hookup they sell for that, but not right away, so looks like that blue wire will just go to the speedo for now.

Which pink wires do you combine for fuses? I have these that were each connected at the stock fuse block;

INJ1&3, INJ5&7, INJ2&4, INJ6&8, BothO2's

And these were separate;

Pass Coils, Drivers Coils, MAF, TCM (one pink, one RD/WH)

That doesnt include the 2 pink off the X1 connector (pin 19, pin 47)

No its a cann buss wire. The speedo out out can come from the ecm.

LT1swap.com use the 07-09 truck harness pinout should the same under wiring harnesses it list everything to keep and remove. http://lt1swap.com/wiringharness.htm. Pretty much sm yours has vvt but your deleting it anyway.

I get mine at the track. More expensive than at the corner filling station, but is always 85%.

That'd be the right way to do it

Down to waiting on nationally backordered LS7 lifters to finish engine assembly. Went with a Brian Tooley PDS (positive displacement supercharger) stage 2 cam, VVT delete, new 3 bolt cam gear, new Cloyes chain, used the LS2 style dampener rather than a LS3 tensioner. Hummer H3 oil pan, windage tray, pick up tube & dipstick. Wiring is pretty much done except for the fuse block.

The LS7 amd LS3 lifters are the same should be instock everywhere. Where are they on "back order" from and what p/n. And should be whats in the L96 anyway. Gm went to a common lifter.
