Here we go again...a thread highlighting car events in the general Sacramento area.
2017 started off with a bang with my first ever entry in the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona. Thanks to a partnership with ATFA and Rod Shows for the first time ever the GNRS featured a special building exclusive to tri-five Chevys. The tri-five building was a great success stuffed with 100+ 55-56-57 Chevys of every variety.
A small group of California buddies and I were invited to enter our Chevys in the special Tri-Five building on the house. There were Chevys from all over the country. What fun. Last week we hung out together for several days in Pomona and had a ball with weather in the 70's over the week end.
GNRS Pictures & Videos:
HERE I managed to get a shot of every tri-five Chevy in the building. My camera struggled with the lighting, but HERE is my link to 100+ pictures of our portion of GNRS.
Thanks Jim for doing this again this year. I am registered for this years Peggy Sue's Cruise in Santa Rosa already, probably just do the one day on Saturday. Kind of pricey show for one day, but its a lot of fun with the downtown cruise.
I am also going to go to this one in Morro Bay. Its an overnight trip but I hear is a real good downtown show. Bit of a drive, but hope maybe a few will go down or in John K's case across the valley.
Sure, glad to do it and always open to suggested events. Morrow Bay is definitely a bit away from Sacramento area. I am going to strongly consider Peggy Sue event.

Cal Expo has been designated to be an evacuation center starting today for flood evacuees. QUESTION: What might this do to Sacramento Autorama starting later this week? Set up day starts on Wednesday.

News is all over Sacramento radio and I sent you a couple of links. Red Cross set up an evacuation area at the Cal Expo horse track at Cal Expo...60 people already there. Should not interfere with Autorama per Michelle at Rod Shows.
A few pictures of the OF gang settling in for Sacramento Autorama Clubhouse Building at Cal Expo. One can easily note my old buddies of the River City Rodsters are not exactly tri-five guys. They give me and my tri-fives a lot of slack.
so much fun to be had there and I have this sucky thing called work I have to go to. RRRR Rons car looks like it has much better lighting than at gnrs. Sure wish I could have done this show too. Instead I am dealing with stupid engineers.
Randy if those posters are available and you can grab some up, put me on the list. Wish I could get up there, pretty soggy between here and Sac.
Many thanks
Jim
