Default Tail light to Body Seals

Ran across a package of 1957 tail lights to body seals. Can't find anything about them except dealers selling them. Already have tail lights installed. Do they go around tail lights between tail lights and body? Can someone help with where they go exactly and how they are installed (which is the inside and outside of seal). These aren't the seals under the tail lights, but strips that are about 6-7 inches long and are curved the entire length of the strip.

Thanks, Fuzz

Fuzz, if you look close at the back of this tail light, the right side is the channel for the rubber strip. The left side has the strip still installed.

Thanks Drag. That picture says it all. I don't think they were on my Gene Smith tail lights. Will have to take tail lights off and install. One step forward, and two back. Would have to find them after wiring in tail lights. But do have disconnects on wires, so shouldn't be too bad. Thanks again so much!

Default Seals

The wires don't need to be disconnected or unplugged.

May be true, but if I need more room - I've got the capability to do it without needing four hands or scratching the new chrome bumpers.

Default Seals

Put a couple dabs of weatherstrip adhesive or tape to hold them in place while reinstalling the housing.
