That's an oxymoron if I ever heard one!

But the other day I bought some "Large Micro Switches". Maybe I'll have some Jumbo Shrimp tonight?

I too have chased this stumble as alot of the rest have . Sometime I think I have it for awhile than it sneaks back. I am on the fence to buy or not will wait to see some more results before I commit.

Not really. For the simplicity of manufactureing it, it's overpriced. For the benifits from it, it was worth the overprice.
We often pay more than something is worth, because it's the only game in town.

Ditto that!

I don't have to worry about a stumble since my car doesn't leave the garage, but if I had a stumble, I wouldn't hesitate to spend $40 for a 25 cent item -- IF -- a large number of users reported real world results like Don's friend.

????????? Check my response back to you in post #51 in this thread.

My comment you inquire about was said in mocking cynicism of the doubters here.

I still haven't been able to try mine because my whole car needs to get wired before I can fire the motor again, but I can't wait to try them.

I have a Holley DP on my 454. I too had a stumble. I worked w/ squirters, idle adj and accelerator pump cams till it was fixed.
Engines are different in terms of cam, port design, manifold, intake signal, etc. I don't know anything about Edlebrock carbs but I don't expect to pull any carb out of a box and expect it to be perfect. The accelerator pump is a band-aid by design. To think the stumble is a conspiracy by the carb mfg to make you buy additional parts is crazy.

Or do like I said and later you did too, that is to make one (or two) and try it. I can't wait till I get the chance. I still say it's and oxymoron, and I hope you didn't take that as any kind of insult. I find them funny, and not in a demeaning way at all.
