Hi everyone. I'm fairly certain that I've seen a '55 4d Belair wagon. But, did they also make a 2d Belair wagon?? I'm not talking about the Nomad wagon. Or was the Nomad also known as a 2d Belair wagon?? Thanks, Carmine.
Well yes and no.
There is of course a nomad two door wagon with the slanted B piller. They were all BelAirs.
Then there is a two door wagon called a handyman, with a straight B pillar. They could be either a 150 or a 210 model. To my knowledge there were no BelAir Handyman wagons from the factory.

During the Trifive years, the Nomad WAS the BelAir 2-Dr station wagon! if you see BelAir emblems/trim on a non-Nomad 2-dr wagon, then someone faked it and the trim tags/VIn should reflect either 150 or 210 model!

Often times you see a previous owner swap out the door and long quarter moldings from the 210 and use the Bel Air door and quarter moldings with the painted insert. There was no long top paint dividers like what was used on the sedans, hardtops and convertibles. There was only the upper "Sharks tooth".
These changes do not make it a Bel Air.....
