I am looking for a couple pics possibly of a 56 - 210 4 door sedan seat. Rear seat first. I am looking for measurements for the height of the fabric and the vinyl. I dont know the measurement of where they meet, How far down from the top of the seat or how far up from the seat cushion. I'm assuming its the same level as the stainless on the doors and the little panel behind the doors. But my panel is not original to the car so I cant go by that. Also wondering how tall the front of the seat cushion is off the floor at the front?
Are you planning on making your own upholstery?
My photos are for a 55 4 door 210. I think the seats are the same size, but will wait for someone else to confirm. Also the pattern of the seats and panels may not be the same.
Thanks for the response. Yes I am making my own interior. I am a glutton for punishment. I have all the door panels done and am looking to start on the rear seat now. I know the seats are the same on 55 and 56 but the upholstery pattern is different. I am loosely copying the original
Can anyone put a tape measure on a couple of seats for a 56 - 210 4 door sedan with original interior??
What do you need?
Tom, I still have my old 55 seat upholstery. Would sending them to you assist in getting the overall dimensions of the seats? I've seen on another recent thread that the seats are similar between the same model, i.e. 210 to 210.

Reason: added info
1 the height of the rear seat at the front of the seat (from floor to the top of the bottom cushion This is about 12 3/8 inch see photo 1
2. approximately how wide the vinyl on the top of the seats is. It looks like it sticks down about 6"?? The 55 210 doesn't have vinyl on the front of the rear seat bottom. The back has cloth on the top half which is about 12 3/8 up from the bottom. The top of the rear seat back is around 21 3/4. See photo 2
3. As I remember the bottom seat cushion is completely covered with fabric on a 210 correct but the Bel Air has about a 6" piece of vinyl at the front??
Take a look at the Danchuk catalog upholstery section as there are some sketches (similar to Pops) for the different models of the three years.
It looks like the vinyl break on the rear seat is along the break on the door panel. For my 55 its pretty close.
Let me know if you need any dimensions for the front seat.
I would like to see the revisions you are making to the rear seat.
