i installed the 5564dbk about a year ago and never had a good pedal , i just had a guy power bleed with air compressor and he notice that the back reservoir goes to back brakes and the front reservoir goes to front brakes is this right ? i have a pic that was sent to me showing this way , is this correct ?
mine is not like this pic
That picture is correct if the master cylinder has the large reservoir at the rear and the small reservoir is at the front. That is the way my '57 is plumbed.
If your master cylinder is made differently then it may be plumbed differently.
i clamped off the rear , and no change , i did the rear then 1 of the front ,, with no change
right with motor off it takes about 3 pumps and its full and hard , start the motor it drops about 1" and when you pump it again 1/4 pedal maybe 1/2
i think i have bad master , the only thing in common from the start i have changed the booster from a 7" to a 8" i think i need a different master maybe even a 1" 1/8 bore , got me
I went the opposite. I started with the 1 1/8" master and then went to the 1" was more satisfied with that.
