Information request for spring perch distances

Recently I asked about axle lengths and was shown a source for Factory numbers, which was very helpful.

Is there a Factory list that has the rear spring perch spacing?

I tried to measure mine but it seems all coiled tape rulers have the same "loose" end and it confuses me, throws off my measurements and isn't very accurate (like 32nds or 64ths)

I'm in total agreement the Factory numbers are much more reliable! Thanks.

The spring pearches are 46" between centers. http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com/chevyresto/55030.htm

The reason the end of tape measurers are loose is for inside and outside measurements. The movement allows for the thickness of the L on the tape. When you hook the L on something to measure, it slides out to give the same measurement as when you push the tape against something to give an inside measurement.
