It's funny while I was looking for these I seem to come across lots of vids of 55 owners doing burnouts, I guess it says something about the car, or the owners?!? lol
Guess I should post my fun here too. I'm not much for drag racing but these are of my 57 road racing and autocrossing her. Getting sideways in a 57 Chevy is so much fun.
Here's a video my son took on Friday, 7/16/2010, of my '57's 11.56 pass ... Check it out HERE. It's a bit dark, but you really get the idea of what 117 mph looks like, since the video was taken near the finish line. BTW, I beat a MOPAR that ran a low 12 ... Made 4 passes that night, all in the 11.50's, the quickest being an 11.51 at 117.29 mph.

Thought I'd let you guys take a ride with me in my '57 on an 11.59 pass at 116 mph ... The video has a little camera shake due to the mount I used, but you'll still get an idea of what it's like to make an 11 second pass. BTW, I was racing another car at the time, but he is not to be seen ... Clicky HERE and enjoy! Select HD 720P, full screen, and turn uP the sound!
