Congratulations! It's really not over now! Just the build that's over, and the fun of driving it, and making minor changes now begins in chapter II. I'm sure you'll get a lot of enjoyment with the '57 now!
And 150's are my favorite of all the '57 Chevys!

Yup , 150's are the best and less likely to find , the businessman's convenience , total absence of a rear seating and not so easy to pick out either from the VIN . I sorted mine out and insisted the DOT lady list as such on the title , she didn't see any reason to dispute so listed as that way : )
Mine is gone now and is still close in town here so I can watch how the new boy works it along , he is a good guy : )

The '57 150 had a backseat. The last year for the 150 "Business Coupe" was 1955. They sold about 500 of them from what I was told back around 1970 by the local Chevrolet dealership when I owned my 1955 Business Coupe. 1956 on all 150's had a backseat.
Either way they could still be a business coupe version, just no package shelf in place of the backseat after 1955.

Last thing I would do ever is dispute your knowledge Vall , one little indicator I found was no little hooks on the floor hump provided for the rear seat springs to snap into , and the other was absence of rollup rear windows , my 56 had neither of these . Also old registrations that came with the car indicated it was first bought and used by the Shell Oil company in Texas and I would assume was used for a fleet / oil field car . Shell likely bought a bunch of them and it would be likely they would go for the stripped down 150 utility version for oil field use , I am only guessing : )

Lack of roll up rear windows on a 150 is pretty common. Roll up windows were an option for a 150. Not sure why no hooks for a backseat, but a true business coupe in 1955 and earlier had a built up platform for packages. But I believe even those had the backseat hooks under the package base? Been a long time since 1970 when I had my '55, but I do seem recall seeing the hooks under the package shelf.
Mine also had a trunk divider that simply screwed to the metal between trunk and rear area. It had a black vinyl over it that appeared to be original. The base had a ribbed rubber mat with an edging around to protect the edge of the mat when tossing packages or cargo into the rear area. Mine also only had a driver's side visor.

Vall unfortunately your Chevrolet Dealer source was not correct when he gave you your information in 1970 as body style 1512 Utility Sedan was manufactured at least through all three years of Trifive Production. All Utility sedans had a wood platform and carboard/vinyl trunk divider as you described and fixed rear windows. A utility sedan was the only model with fixed rear windows. A regular 150 two door sedan would have had a back seat and rear window cranks. Also production, while still relatively low compared to other models, was much higher than 500.

In 1955: 12139 Utility Sedans were produced and retailed cheaper than any other model at $1667. This can be compared to a regular 150 (back seat and roll down windows) two door sedan at $1759 and $1962 for a Bel Air two door sedan.

In 1956: 10,712 produced. $1804 Retail Price vs $1896 for regular 150 and $2095 for a BelAir two door sedan.

In 1957: 8817 produced. $1945, $2056 for 150, and $2298 for Belair

All the production numbers came straight from the "Trifive Library" right here on this very site.

As for rear seat hooks on the floor a Trifive sedan rear seat bottom does not have hooks made on the floor to retain it. There are squares punched in the floor with metal cups inserted into them. The seat frame then has "dicks" for lack of a better term formed out of wire that insert into the cups. Who knows if Utility sedans had the cups installed or not?

I have studied this matter extensively as I am a 150 guy and would love to own a 1956 Utility Sedan someday. I basically cloned my '57 gasser into a Utility Sedan by deleting the rear seat and fixing the rear windows. I have attached a couple pictures of a '57 Utility Sedan I saw at the 2016 Trifive Nationals.

Thanks for that information!
Not surprised the dealership parts person was wrong back then. But I am surprised by the specs about only 150 utility sedans having fixed windows? I thought operating windows were an option on all 150 two door sedans?
Guess I was way off on this.
