After 6 years, I finally finished my 55 & have it on the road. First trip was 450 miles to the Tri-Five Nationals & it made it down & back with no problems!!!
Nice "Old School" 327. Great job carrying through the O/S theme in the engine bay with Moon Eyes, and reverse flames. Attached photo is my version of an O/S 327 in my '55.

I had a golf cart at the Nationals so I didn't mind going everywhere I wanted as often as possible. I sorry I missed seeing your ride as she is a beauty. I wonder how many other Tri Fives I missed just due to the crowd and volume of cars. I too made the 4000 mile journey with my ride as its maiden voyage without any issues. Well done sir.
Very cool, congrats on getting it on the road! I'm almost there myself.
