I haven't received my confirmation number, but my Nomad is near ready. I drove it to a show in Yuma, AZ about 60 miles away. Drove beautifully. The new lights are in, got safety belts. Need to mount a speaker system to hook up to my Retro 2 radio. That's about it.
I did put my car on display today for tomorrow's show. I got two votes for best in show and three "how much would you want for it if you put it for sale?". That was worth more than any trophy they have to offer.
Yuma ? Thought you were Northern California Bob. First I have seen of the Nomad since you rescued it, looks real nice.

SoCal, MidCal, NorCal...love it all. My Nomad is stored at my company in El Centro. My black Chev and '62 Vette are in Sunnyvale, the rest are in the Pismo Beach area where I'm trying to finish up my '49 Olds convertible for the West Coast Kustoms in Santa Maria May 22nd. Big LA and Central Valley influx.
Work Hard, Play Fair, Drive Safe, Rock On!!!
I hope everything is cleared up by then. We'll need some activity by then. I'm already climbing the walls...........
Good Guys cancelled their first 3 shows of the season, and today rescheduled the Del Mar Show from April 3-5 to Oct 2-4.
