There is at least one OLD hot rod magazine that covered putting a 392 in a 55 Chevy. I used to own a copy.

Hey Scott, how about seeing it in a Suburban? A 1952 (?) Plymouth Suburban that is. I just picked one up that's gonna need an engine. Let's flip a coin to see who gets what?
Back in 1961 or '62 I remember seeing a hot rod magazine with a hot rodded Savoy 2 door wagon. I thought it was pretty neat and stayed in the back of my mind 'til I saw this one. Been wondering what I'm gonna do with it. I think it would make an awesome gasser, specially since I don't have the hood or grille.

That would be neat. A Plymouth Suburban with a Hemi, torque-flight trans and a Dana 60 rear end. You wouldn't see another one at any car show!
I've had this dream for my 55 sedan delivery for a long time. Hopefully it will all work out.
Good luck with your Suburban project.
Scott
