Default Are these 66 Caprice seats?

Now that I have them re-upholstered and installed, I'd like to confirm they are what the P/O said they were before I start making inquiries for the few trim pieces I need to complete the install. Thanks for any help.

Larry.

Why they rotated 90 degrees I don't know. Sorry!

Here are a couple pics of what 66 Caprice buckets are supposed to look like. I'm not so sure they are the same as what you have. The panel on the back and sides (to a lesser degree) look different to me.

I have to wonder if the Canadian cars, which these seats are from had different styling than their American counterparts.

Those blue/grey ones look just like the ones in my 66 Chevelle.

After seeing these responses, & combing the net I have to wonder if these are from a Pontiac, Buick or Olds. They had been in his garage for a very long time. Maybe his mind has faded a bit lol. Thanks for your help.

Larry.
The vinyl pattern is not a 66 Caprice Classic seat pattern but frame might be.

Those aren't GM seats. I believe they're early 60's Thunderbird seats. That wide chrome band around the backrest rear cover plate is a dead givaway. Dave

Thanks Dave. I've been looking on line for pics for a while. Not being a Ford guy I took for granted what the P/O told me.

You're welcome, Larry. I'm not a Ford guy either, but with 40+ years in the upholstery business I can recognize most of the pre-80's stuff. Dave
