On the horn rings, the Danchuck's is the far superior product. And BTW, I have never had a problem returning a defective item bought from them directly. Although I have only had to send back two items in the last 20 years. I am not a shill for Danchuck, but I have found that they sell a quality product that they stand behind. Several of the products that they make are the finest reproduction parts available, for example hoodbirds, 1956 tailights, etc.....
Before posting the original thread, I checked again the price that Danchuk wanted for the horn ring. This was on line at their site for $149.95. Wanted to make sure this was correct. Previously, I received Danchuks catalog about the thickness of an old Sears Book. Looked up the horn ring and it was $124.95 if I remember correctly. That's a much better price then the other two vendors. Free shipping. I just might consider that, Carmine.

Yikes. Just when I thought I knew what I was going to do. Back to square one again, Carmine.

Woodies Hot Rodz will often run sales on in stock Danchuk parts. Their sale prices will sometimes blow Danchuk out of the water. Being the major sponsor of the American Tri Five Association, they never charge shipping to ATFA members. I saved several hundred dollars on all my side trim over Danchucks so called sale price. Funny thing was, the parts were shipped straight from Danchuk.

I should have mentioned, that if you have a question about a part, the staff at Woodies seem to know more about the Danchuk products than the customer service people at Danchuk. I will say, both Danchuk and Woodies have been very good about returns or replacing any damaged items.

You can't convince me that there are several companies making these items. I'm sure you all get them from the same Chinese manufacturer. So why the disparity in prices?? Do you think that we don't shop around?? Why in the good Lords name would I want to pay $50.00 more for the same items?? I wouldn't, Carmine.
Marv's Classic Chevy Parts has the 55 ring on sale for $144.95. The sell many Danchuk parts.

I'll check again, but I can get the ring that I need, from 2 different vendors. One is $98.00 and the other $102.00. I don't believe I want to pay more elsewhere, Carmine.
