I know these are probably a little pricey but the Hotchkiss hollow design front and rear bars are top notch. I have them on myh 56 Bel Air sedan and what a difference they made. Also, the fit was great too!
Hellwig bars are good stuff too and they offer a big tubular 1-5/16" bar as well as a solid 1-1/4" bar. If you run a big front bar you may want/need a rear bar as well. Hellwig has adjustable rear bars and also bars for cars with pocket kits for the springs.
If you don't want to be as aggressive, Addco and Gene Smith have smaller bars.
What are the great results that you all talk about??? i have a pretty much stock suspension except for the QP rear differnetial. Is a rear sway bar really needed????? what would be the benefit of having both front and rear as opposed to just the front????? The engine is not stock its a 283 with a blower and runs well!!!!!!
For a casual weekend driver, I think you will happy with whatever brand you put In. Itís that big of a difference. My first was CPP. I was on a budget at the time and was amazed. My current car has a beefier Ride tech. I canít say enough about Ride tech. I would base your decision on how you intend on using the car. To me, no sense in spending big dollars if you are not going to drive the car in a way that you will optimize its performance.
