A little too much spread for me. Run the test again with a couple of squirts of oil in each cyl and see if the numbers go up. If the numbers increase, then rings are probably the issue, if it stays at the big spread, then valves are the likely culprit. I would think that an engine of this era should be close to 130 psi cranking pressure, and in any case the 95 to 125 spread is pretty big.
The high numbers are fine, but the spread isn't. Was this test done cold, or after the engine warmed up? A proper compression test should be done after the engine is warmed up.
Are these numbers from a running engine or something that has not been run in several years? If it has not been run in a long time you should run it for a while and then check compression again while hot/warm.
Make sure the carb choke and throttle plate are full open prior to cranking. :shakehands: :anim_25:
