The last several times I have loaded pictures on the site they have posted upside down. I tried to send them from my files to see if they would post right side up with no luck. I am running a iMac and taking pictures on a iPhone 6s.
I have never had a problem loading pictures to the site before...
I did jut load new software on both the phone and the desktop. Maybe it changed the resolution to a higher setting and now they are getting turned upside down for some reason.
Any help would be appreciated.
I am trying to post some occasional pictures of the resto project and seeing them upside down at the end of a long day is Maddening!
Here is a example...
It's a common issue that has to do with the iphone.
It all has to do with the way you hold the iPhone when you take the picture. If you think about it, you can hold the phone with one of four sides at the top. If you rotate the phone so that what was the top is now the bottom the image on screen will rotate also so that it looks correct, but the image stored will be upside down. That stored image when posted on a website will display upside down.
Android phones rotate both the screen image and the stored image so they dont have that problem.
The solution is to figure out which side the iPhone thinks is top and always hold it that way when taking pictures or use some form of software to manipulate the image after its taken.
Nice looking handyman.
