Unhappy Sad Sad Sad

Like all of you grew up with magazines read cover to cover and back again !
I'll be darned if I'm going to sit in front of a computer and "READ" a magazine.
Besides don't care for MT, HR, cancelled all those years ago.
If that's they way its going shame on them I'll just go back and pull out all my old rags from years gone by and start over. Heck they are paid for.
Besides got Tri Five for what I really need!
Happy New Year , My best to you all in 2020!

I happened to catch a local news report yesterday about how much some local lowriders were saddened by
the demise of Lowrider Magazine. It appears that their
favorite publication is going away also.

I doubt that anyone here cares much, but another group of car guys (even of a different style)
are finding their lives changing also. Those guys put a ton of effort and peso's into their rides,
and who can resist appreciating that?

So I got around to Barnes and Nobles this afternoon to see if there was any magazines, in the flavor of Street Rodder that I might be interested in and want your guys opinions. Both are from Murpho's publishing, Car Kulture DeLuxe, and Ol'Skool Rodz. Both are $27.95 for a 6 month subscription. There wasn't too much advertising, which I do look at to see who makes what and their contact info. Not like Street Rodder which had tons of advertising, with most of it was rodder parts centered. Didn't notice much in line of Tech articles like Professor Hammer, ect. There isn't much out there sad to say. My daughters would say "Jeez Dad, they can't even spell the words in their names correctly" LOL. Hey with any luck maybe they'll reboot S/R in a couple of years like they did once before, once they realize that there is more readers of S/R and C/C, and they have more disposable income for magazines then the Tuners crowd!I think the publishers are listening to the wrong people cause as the old saying goes "they never wrote a song about a Honda Accord".

The Professor Hammer feature was the best part of Street Rodder, for what, maybe 20 years now? I hope Ron Covell finds a similar venue on the internet, or maybe I can find it if it exists already?
