Default Swap find

I will have to look in my parts pile, I think I might have 2 or 3 of those laying around, nice if they are the answer to some cooling problems.

Just think how much it would cool if you made a shroud to go around that monster fan...:-)

Those 5 blade A/C fans are hard to come by. I see them on Ebay going up to $350. Not sure why.....I guess they are effective and hard to find. I have one if anyone is interested...

You have a very cool engine bay. Look at that original power steering and generator set up. Looks like a 4bl too.

Later I decided it was only $5 and I've wasted that on other parts before, I went back and bought it!
When I got home I found "P13972" stamped on it so I Googled it. Turns out it was from a 73 F250 with a 390 engine. I thought it was another wasted $5. but I decided to see if it would bolt on anyways just to make sure.
IT FITS!! No modifications at all. Before my temp gauge always pointed straight up and in stop and go traffic it would sometimes go past straight up. Now it stays on the cool side of straight up, that was even after sitting in the drive way not moving with in drive for 10 minutes after it warmed up!
Now I just have to get past the thought of a F#@d part on my car!

People don't seem to mind using Ford differentials and solenoids, so what the heck.
