Put a fan in front of the radiator & run the engine 1500 to 1800 rpm & add Freon. Your excessive pressure readings are due to low engine rpm (compressor is turning to slow) & not enough air flow through the condenser.

If you still have issues I can check it here if you get up this way.

Ok, so this time I revved the motor up a little and put the second 12 oz can in.
Low side reads 25lbs while revving and 30 at idle. The high side reads 200 revving and 225 at idle. The electric fan is not turning on but runs if you wire it directly. So that is an issue that need to be addressed. Blows cold going down the road, but not as cold as I remember.
Ran out of time today, will fool with it again next weekend.

Thanks for all the replies.

Low side is close the high side is still high = it needs more air flow through the condenser.

The fan should run when AC is in use. For auto operation power the fan with a relay triggered by the AC compressor wire or use a keyed manual switch for the fan.

ES12A will blow colder than R12.

Good luck
