Did exactly that about 2 years ago, went in like a dream with no problems electronically. Had to get it tuned professionally after it was in as its a general tune you get from GM.

I got the 430 LS 3 con & cruz, Love it ,rocky at first. even know i was 7 months out of warranty GM & i replaced 3 transmissions , they were not bad , the trans computer wiring was wrong fixed it, Now I have 10000 miles on my car in 1 1/2 years.

Default I got the 430 LS 3 con & cruz, Love it ,rocky at first. even know i was 7 months out

By any chance did the trans not shift out of first gear? That's the issue I'm having with my Connect & Cruise(LS376/525,4L70E) right now.

I'm ready to get a replacement TCU to see if that fixes the problem.

Is the trans wiring all installed? Is the VSS connected? Is the shift linkage allowing for full movement and its in “D”?

Whats part number on the Trans controller?

This is a common problem. You most likely connected the wrong harness connector at the rear of the trans. There are two connectors on the harness.

The large round harness for the tranny can go in 180 degrees out and if so will only give you one forward gear and reverse. Pull it out turn it 180 and put it back in. Common problem, even warns you it can go in backwards in directions.
