Bob Cooks 57. Met him a couple years ago at New England Dragway. We had also been in contact with each other while I was building my car. His car is absolutely perfect and runs in the 5's in the 1/8 mile. I need a whole lot more motor to keep up with him! Beautiful car and you couldn't meet a nicer guy.

Here is a short video of the Corvette running in my driveway. I had the exhaust exiting in front of the rear tires, but was too noisy in the interior at highway speeds. I had just made a couple of tail pipes that dump right at the rear frame cross member. Much more civilized now. Just finishing putting the 57 Olds rear end together which I' plan on installing 1st thing this spring. 4.11 gears on a 35 spline spool. Should be bullet proof in this light car.

Thanks. That video was the first time that the 57 moved under it's own power in God knows how many years. Always a big milestone when you can turn the key and drive them under their own power. Steering, brakes and clutch all worked just as they were supposed to. That was a good day.
