I have never seen a 250 hp. with a 3 speed, mine is a Power Glide.
I actually went to see one for sale in Pennsylvania with that engine code as a 150 coupe. Whether or not it was original is a whole different story. But I'd assume they mainly came with powerglides *and turboglides.

There was a documented four door sport sedan at the Nationals that had the 250hp fuel injection and powerglide trans. All original and very well documented.
Black with red interior, I'm sure gertman2000 got a picture of it.
Everyone loves to include when parts are labeled for "Fuel Injection" so I usually like to chime in to set the story straight for others who are unaware. Heck, you could label any part on a 57 as "Fuel Injection" with that ideology.
The "EJ" engine code is the 250 HP hydraulic lifters.
The "EK" engine code is the 283/283 you referenced with solid lifters.
